HOW IT WORKS

We know planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, so we want to take some of the stress off your plate. Our process is super simple. Here is our step by step guide to creating your custom one of a kind piece.

  1. We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space. Once we receive your deposit, you’ll receive a welcome email from us with all the details you need, including floral care instructions, step-by-step process on how to ship your bouquet to us safely. We highly recommend using our overnight Bloom Box service, which will ensure we receive your flowers at their freshest. You may also arrange to drop off your flowers, at our studio, the day after your event.

  2. Once we receive your flowers, your bouquet will undergo a drying process that removes all moisture. Here’s what you can expect:

Our preservation artist will carefully pick the best blooms and place them in silica sand for 5-8 weeks of drying. Once blooms have dried, they will be uniquely arranged in the shadow box of your choice. Upon completion, your piece will be carefully packaged and shipped to you. The whole process, from start to finish, will take 2 to 3 months.

Color and Texture Changes: Some flowers may not retain their original appearance. It's normal for dried flowers to differ in color, texture, and size.

    Flower Type Matters:
Flowers with higher moisture content (like tropical blooms, lilies, and certain orchids) do not dry as well and most likely will need color correction. For specifics, please refer to our flower guide below.

Freshness is Key: We recommend we receive your bouquet within 1-2 days post-event for the best results. We accept bouquets of varying ages and conditions, but please keep in mind that the state of the flowers will affect the final product.

    Condition of Arrival:
Fresh is best, while we can work with older flowers keep in mind we cannot revive flowers back to life. Flowers that are older and drooping will lose their shape in the drying process. We work with the flowers in as is condition.

COMMON QUESTIONS

WHICH FRAME SIZE SHOULD I ORDER BASED ON MY FLOWERS?

Our floral preservation process is entirely customizable, you are welcome to order whatever size you want! For reference, a standard bouquet can fill a 16x20 frame or smaller. Smaller bouquets typically fill an 11x14 or smaller. And a larger bouquet can fill an 18x24 or smaller.

HOW SOON DO YOU NEED MY BLOOMS?

Blooms are best for preservation within 2 days of your event. Please note that if we receive your blooms past that 2 day window, they likely will not come in a workable condition for preservation!

ARE THERE FLOWERS NOT SUITABLE FOR PRESERVATION?

Flowers with high water content, thick structures, or fleshy petals are generally not ideal for preservation, as they are prone to mold, wilting, or losing their shape. Succulents, orchids, and some tropical flowers, are also not suitable for most preservation methods due to their high water storage and fleshy composition.

IS A BLOOM SHIPPING BOX INCLUDED IN MY FRAME ORDER?

No, Bloom Shipping Boxes are a separate product. If you wish to use a Bloom Shipping Box for sending your blooms to us, ensure you add one to your cart before checkout!

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY BLOOMS BEFORE SHIPPING THEM?

We recommend freshly cutting the stems and putting your arrangement in a vase of cool water, out of direct sunlight. It is not recommended that your arrangement is put in the fridge. This will ensure your blooms remain as fresh as they can before shipment to us!
